7/3/09 - What's going on at Reflex?
- Wow does the time fly. Can you believe it is July already! It has been a while since we have had a chance to update the web site. The truth is we have been incredibly busy with day to day work. We are very fortunate to be busy given the economic situation.
After talking to most of the tool trucks and parts suppliers the independent Automotive Repair industry seems to be doing very well overall.
- We were able to take a few days over the past couple of weeks to finish our Ginster yellow GTI (seen at the right). We were pretty excited to complete the motor swap and have the motor fire on the first shot. The car is currently for sale, but we will be enjoying it in the mean time until it is sold.
- We picked up a clean southern Corrado G60 a few weeks ago. We originally purchased the car for a parts car to piece together a mk2 GTI G60 swap that we sold to a customer. One look at the underside of the Corrado we knew this was no parts car. This Corrado is super super clean with only 92k miles. We took the pieces we needed to fix the mk2 GTI and are planning on swapping in a 1.8T engine with a larger turbo and swapping SLC VR6 front end parts when time permits.
We hope the next six months are just as enjoyable as the last six. Stay tuned for more updates.

7/3/09 - NEW USED CARS!
We just recently finished the 1.8T swap in our 1997 Ginster GTI. This GTI only has 62k original miles! Click the picture for more information.

We also picked up a super clean one owner black on black leather 1999 VW Passat wagon 1.8T 5 speed that we will be going through top to bottom and giving it all the maintenance it needs. If we didn't have one already this one would not be for sale.
