This car is getting a COMPLETE overhaul. The customer purchased it from us a few months ago as pretty much stock mk3 jetta with a 1.8T using our Relfex Tuning 1.8t swap kit. . Because the motor was incomplete at the time, this gave the new owner the option of adding a few things.
The list includes, a complete color change + clean up the engine bay, GT28RS big turbo upgrade, Peloquin LSD, 6 speed audi TT quatro transmission (staying fwd for now, going awd in the future), cast prototype turbo manifold, Joe P boost controller, ABT body kit, smooth top euro bumpers, GLX power leather interior, B&G coilovers, pieced Gotti wheels, mk3 climatronic, euro fenders, door handle recess mod....more to come.

This week we kept open to catch up on project work. This car is going to move along quickly. We picked the 4 best doors between this car and the parts car the customer provided. The doors are in awesome shape and do not need much to straighten out.

Update: 3/20/08 7:00pm
Finished straightening out the two doors that we worked on yesterday. They are in the first coat of primer now, they should be in their final coat of primer by next week.

Update: 3/25/08 9:00pm
Today we spent some time on modifying the door handle recesses. We basically lowered the handle recess in order to keep the body line on the door continuous.

German made hoods...the quality compared to the Mexican made hoods is far superior

Update: 4/3/08 10:00pm
We made a bunch of progress today. We pulled out the motor, wiring harness, suspension, subframe, steering rack and dashboard. We started scraping all the seam sealer in the engine bay as well.
Yesterday we test fit the wheels before breaking them apart for refinishing. We rolled the fenders and gave them a slight pull.

Update: 4/8/08 11:00pm
We removed all the seam sealer in the engine bay and started cutting metal to fill some of the holes. Next step is to bang the strut towers to the correct shape and start filling in some holes.
