What color is that!!! That may be your first impression. Some people love it, some hate it...well, we love it. The name of the color is Futura Yellow, and this one is one of the 400 Volkswagen made.
This one owner GTI is just a baby with only 75k original miles. As you can see in the pictures it was hit in the driver side front. There is some minor frame damage which will be taken care of. The important part is that the windshield did not crack, the roof is still straight, and it has a clean title. The interior is in nice shape along with a nice 3 spoke steering wheel.
This car will be up for sale when it is completed. We are looking for some parts to complete it, if you have any of the parts please contact us. We are looking for: Golf headlights (with fogs), golf bumper cover, golf fenders, bumper reinforcement, radiator, and radiator support.

We finally put some time aside this week to get the Futura rolled in and torn down. We were really surprised to find that the rail is in better shape then we thought! At first glance we thought we would have to replace part of the rail, but it turns out that we will be able to pull the rail, hang some new sheet metal, paint it, and you will never be able to tell that the car was hit. We are very grateful that the previous owner had a Neuspeed strut bar installed, which saved this car from being totaled.

Last night we took a 4 hour drive in the snow storm to pick up the last pieces needed to fix the car. We are hoping to have the car on the frame machine over the next week :-) Due to our extremely busy schedule it may be the following week.
