Reflex Tuning's Shop Mule

This project is for us. We picked up this wagon as our new daily driver. Right now it is a VR6 automatic....the automatic part will be changed soon. The wagon is great for going to shows and hauling parts around. The car is in awesome shape...suprisingly as it is from the north east. The only rust on the car is the hatch, everything else is in great shape.

As we speak it is currently in the shop receiving any maintenance it needs, along with a set of Patec coil overs and mk3.5 cabrio front leather seats. The grill/mask will undergo surgery in the near future.

If you have been wondering...this is what it looks like when you try and shave your hatch with bondo

Bad control arm bushing

Nice new R32 bushing

Patec coil overs

Snows and lowered :-)

Update: 12/5/07 11:00pm

It is amazing the kinds of horror shows you see...more often then not. This car under the hood is a pretty big mess. We will sort it out no problem.

Could this be why the car was running poorly?

Platinums=BAD!

Hmmmmmmm

The cause of the coolant leak

Mk3.5 Cabrio front leathers to be fabbed in :-)

Update: 2/2/08 11:00pm

We have been unbelievably busy and have not had much time to work on our own cars lately. Last weekend we had a few extra hours to finally get a chance to work on it. We modded the bases of the Cabrio 3.5 front seats to fit in the wagon. You have to mod the bases only if you wish to keep the automatic seat belts. We also picked up a set of new rollers for the time being, as the DE wheels will be sold with the Ginster that will be up for sale soon.

We also are planning on turbocharging the wagon. So keep an eye out for updates on that.

Update: 2/24/08 9:30pm

We picked up a b4 hatch last weekend. It needs a little body work but we will be shaving the emblem so it;s no problem to fix the areas that have some surface rust.

Update: 5/16/08 8:00pm

The wagon got some new rollers yesterday :-) We still have not had any time to install the new rear suspension, so for now we cut a coil to lower the rear a little.

New stickers came in today :-)
